The Bush Fire Recovery Support program can provide support for people who have been affected by the 2019 Bunyip & Gippsland region bushfires.
Recovery support case workers will work with you to help you navigate the various support services that may be available to you. Support provided by case workers may include:
The case support service may be able to provide you with a small amount of brokerage support to respond to immediate financial need. Case support staff will be able to direct and connect you to application processes for more comprehensive grant and other financial support processes.

If the above does not describe your situation, case managers and workers will consider each case on its merits.
No charge. This program is funded by the Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) & the Victorian Government.
To be eligible for this program, you must reside in the following local government areas: Cardinia Shire; Baw Baw Shire; Latrobe City; Wellington Shire; East Gippsland Shire; South Gippsland; Bass Coast.
A case support worker will conduct an initial screening to determine your current situation and eligibility.
