This group offers strategies to support parents/carers in play with their child. It incorporates activities that promote gross and fine motor skills, an opportunity for sensory play as well as a mat time with some singing/dancing. It provides opportunities for parent interactions with facilitators and other parents whilst engaging in early language skill development.
The group is run by two experienced childhood professionals who will work with parents/carers to model and discuss the importance of these early play experiences,. Time will be available following each session to discuss individual questions/concerns.
Outcomes of the program:
Further develop confidence of parents/carers in supporting their child's ongoing play and development.
Parents with children aged 0-4 years.
