COVID-19 has unprecedentedly changed the world, bringing with it varying challenges for everyone. For the young children and families we work with, the impact has been enormous.
While we have had to postpone some of our main fundraising events, closing our doors is simply not an option and we have continued supporting those who need us, despite the chaos.
You can make a difference while “social distancing”, by making a tax deductible donation today; giving vulnerable children and families access to the additional supports they so desperately need now.
Those women and children who are experiencing family violence and where their home is never a safe environment but particularly now where there is no escape.
Those people in our community who are on the brink of homelessness who now cannot even couch surf and are being turned away from those friends who may have once been able to help them.
And for those people living with disability, who are dealing with additional and crippling mental health issues who were already struggling every single day.
At the time of printing this newsletter the full impact of the pandemic on our services and programs is unknown, but we do know that the demand for our services is on the increase and the need will remain long after COVID-19.
At times like this, being scared and worried can sometimes feel like the new normal. But in challenging times there’s also so much hope and goodness to be found. We are stronger and more resilient when we stand together. You can make a difference to the lives of many today.
If your situation allows, please donate today, every little bit helps.
