Meet Narrelle, one of our friendly support coordinators at Windermere

As an NDIS Support Coordinator, Narrelle assists people how to link into the NDIS services that will best suit them. We sat down with her to ask her a few questions about what she does.

What do you do on a typical day at Windermere?

On a typical day, I help people make the most of their NDIS plans. This involves finding the appropriate providers that will support them, and build their confidence and their skills.

Everyone is different and has different needs, so I support each and every person in different ways.

What is your background?

I worked in the aged care sector for 13 years. Before coming to Windermere, I also worked in the NDIS Call Centre based in Dandenong as well as in Support Coordination services.

What do you enjoy about being a Support Coordinator?

I love being able to make a big difference in other people’s lives. I find it very rewarding to see them achieve their goals and things that are important to them.

What do you enjoy about being at Windermere?

I wanted to work for an organisation that I knew was going to provide extensive training, looks after their staff and had a great reputation.

I have been very supported in my role here at Windermere, not only from my peers, but by management as well.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Spending time with my partner, going for drives in the countryside.

I also love music, going for walks and seeing my family who are in the western part of the state when I can.
