I answer a lot of initial queries about our services. Often when people first contact me, they have been given an NDIS plan but are confused or unsure of what their next steps should be. They have many questions, and I help them identify what services we can offer them, such as various therapies, NDIS support coordination or plan management.
I have wanted to work at Windermere since I did volunteer work here while I was studying counselling. I went on to work in a range of support roles in residential care before finally landing a role with Windermere. I’ve been with Windermere for over four years and love it here.
I love being able to help people find answers to what they need and make things work for them. That’s the favourite part of my job. It’s great when I am able to help them and make them feel like they can have an outcome that will allow them to get to the other side of what has been challenging them.
The NDIS can be very complicated to understand. But please don’t think it can’t be done. There are services out there, such as here at Windermere, where we can help you with your NDIS plan so you can get the outcomes you need and deserve.
I love music, cooking and glamping.
