Counselling for people who have experienced family violence

You can access confidential local counselling services to support you in managing and recovering from trauma or difficulties that have arisen from a family violence experience.

Our therapeutic counselling services provide up to six sessions of support, so you can:

  • understand your emotions and thoughts
  • recognise your triggers and reactions
  • problem solve and seek solutions within your community and networks
  • take steps toward recovery and healing
  • live your life with less distress and anxiety.

Friendly and professional counselling services specifically for those who have a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Plan.

We are experienced in supporting the unique needs of both children and adults.

​We can assist you if you are experiencing difficulties and challenges that have arisen from isolation, loneliness, stress or as a result of trauma or other mental health concern. If you have an NDIS plan, we will work with you so you can cope better with your everyday stresses and challenges to make your days easier and improve your overall quality of life.

Counselling for people with family violence trauma

Confidential and personalised counselling for people who have experienced family violence. 

There are times when you might feel anxious, scared, frustrated or upset about what you have been through. Sometimes you might even have trouble admitting your feelings to yourself, let alone feel like speaking to somebody else about how you feel.

It’s in these situations that our caring therapists can work with you to support you to work through your problems so you feel less overwhelmed and more in control. We are based in Melbourne’s southeast and can work with you face to face.

Counselling support to help sexual assault healing and recovery

We offer free and confidential sexual assault support services for victim survivors and their non-offending family members to support healing and recovery. 

Our Sexual Assault Support Service can provide you with:

  • crisis interventions including immediate and brief support following a recent sexual assault
  • advocacy and outreach support to navigate legal processes
  • liaison and coordination of support with services including medical, police and other critical services
  • therapeutic supports.
